Jordan M. Handin, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC
Dr. Jordan Handin is a board-certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner within the Division of Neurology, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Neuroscience Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and English at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr.Handin then completed a doctorate of nursing practice at the same institution. Her clinical interests include pediatric neurology, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders, epilepsy, seizures, headaches/migraines, Tourette syndrome and tic disorders.
Dr.Handin worked as a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) nurse for six years where she gained extensive experience in caring for critically ill children, prior to completing her nurse practitioner training.
Dr.Handin is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She is a recipient of the D.A.I.S.Y. Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
Dr.Handin is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
